Flying Changes began with a simple belief: that riders deserve clothing that works with them - that respects real bodies, real movement, real confidence.
Not trends. Not shortcuts. And never hype without substance.
Over the years, more than 10,000 garments have left our hands and travelled the world. Into warm-up arenas and championship rings. Onto horses young and old. Onto riders full of hope, nerves, pride, and quiet determination.
With that journey comes responsibility. And learning.
Early on, we learned one of the hardest lessons a business can face - that not every partnership shares your standards. More than a decade ago, we made the bold decision to walk away, to start again, to rebuild our manufacturing from the ground up with a German tailor that matched our values for precision, craftsmanship, and care.
It wasn’t easy. It wasn’t quick. But it was right.
Because integrity isn’t loud. It’s consistent.
Over time, something interesting happened.
Riders stayed. Not because they were paid to - we never have. Not because a logo demanded loyalty. But because when they put our jackets on, they felt understood. They felt supported. They felt confident. They felt themselves again.
Our relationships with riders have always been built on trust, fairness and compassion - standing with people, not moments.
Even when systems changed. Even when federations chased the highest bidder. Even when the rules allowed our work only if it came without credit.
Still - riders chose us.
Because excellence doesn’t need permission.
We have never claimed to be perfect. No long-standing business ever is. But we have always acted in good faith, with respect, and with a genuine commitment to putting things right when challenges arise.
What we are proud of - unapologetically - is the standard we hold ourselves to. The care behind every seam. The intelligence in every line. From the very beginning, Flying Changes has led the way in redefining equestrian tailoring.
Like any meaningful journey, there have been moments of doubt. Moments where the noise grew louder than the truth. Moments where it would have been easier to shout back.
